WEEKLY SNAPSHOT

October 8, 2025

Happy Quarter 4!

It was a quiet week at the Chamber. We had our monthly Women Mean Business Roundtable, but that was really it. Join us in November for the last roundtable of the year.

The “chamber world” can be a way of life. Check out the Chamber Kristin was able to visit last week while in Meredith, NH. Yes, that is all of it. Sadly, the Chamber was not staffed at the time.

Just a quick snippet before you read on:

– Safety Council is next week, always free and open to the public, please register so we put out enough chairs.

– Learn and Lunch with 4BIS next week. Registration open.

– Networking at Lunch is tomorrow and fewer than 10 seats available. I am still looking for December and 2026 lunch sponsors. If you are interested, let me know.

CHAMBER MEMBER BENEFITS

As your Chamber of Commerce, we’re committed to being your advocate when you need it most. One way we do that is by sharing timely, reliable information that may affect your business.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce recently released an update on the potential government shutdown—what it could mean for businesses and how to prepare. We’re sharing their insights to help you stay informed, no matter where you stand politically.

How a Government Shutdown Could Affect You and Your Business

You can expect delays in small business financing, interruptions to travel, and ripple effects across local communities.
