WEEKLY SNAPSHOT

August 13, 2025

Whew! It was a BUSY week!

This morning was another PACKED house for our Safety Council meeting. We want to thank Dr. David Martineau of Orthopedic Associates for presenting on hand injuries today. Everyone is welcome to attend any meeting for no cost.

On Thursday, I attended the Ohio Chamber’s Workforce Summit in Columbus. Our Keynote speaker in the morning was Lt. Gov. Jim Tressel. There were many great speakers and panels that have already started discussions about how to better prepare our students for the workforce. Stay tuned!

Last week we participated in two ribbon cuttings! We celebrated the remodel of the Wessel Drive 5/3 Bank building AND the grand opening of the Flying Ace Car Wash on Rt 4.

Sara and I also attended the “Opening Day” celebration at the Fairfield City Schools. Board member Scott Clark did a great job addressing all the teachers, administrators, support personnel and community leaders.

In addition, we had another GREAT Women Mean Business networking session on Wednesday. Be sure to get signed up for the September session. You will be glad you did!

Finally, our class is filling up FAST for Leadership Fairfield. Find all the information below and get signed up for the year here. You will not want to miss this opportunity to learn, lead and serve.

Have a great week!

Peggy
