Caring for the Caregiver: A Vital Conversation for Women in Business

FAIRFIELD, OH – Nearly 17% of the U.S. adult population provides unpaid care to an adult over the age of 50. More than 75% of these caregivers are women, and on average they spend almost an equivalent number of hours a week providing care as people traditionally spend at a full-time job, plus the demands of work and their own children.

However, in the process of caring for others, they can easily forget to care for themselves. The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce invites you to join us for a meaningful discussion on “Caring for the Caregiver” at our upcoming Women Mean Business EDUCATE event.

This event offers a unique opportunity for women professionals to learn, share, and network with others who face similar challenges. Our keynote speaker, Rhonda Benson, brings a wealth of experience and insight to this important topic. As the Executive Director of NAMI Butler County, Rhonda has dedicated over a decade to supporting individuals and families affected by mental health issues. Her extensive involvement in local mental health initiatives, including the Butler County Suicide Prevention Coalition and the BC LOSS/DOSS team, makes her a leading voice on caregiver wellness and mental health advocacy.

Don’t miss this chance to invest in yourself and connect with a community of like-minded professionals. Whether you are currently in a caregiving role or simply want to better understand how to support those who are, this event is for you.

Reserve your spot today and join us for an inspiring and educational experience. Tickets are available for $30 per person.
