COVID-19 Small Business Relief Grant
Recognizing that small businesses have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, Fairfield City Council and the Butler County Commissioners have set aside funding from the federal CARES Act to provide grants to eligible small businesses. Locally-owned businesses with a physical storefront in the city will be assisted through grants ranging from $5,000 to $10,000, based on the number of employees of the business.
Applications will be accepted starting November 17th at 1:00 p.m. and be funded on a first-come, first-serve basis. The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the city to administer the program, including providing application assistance to businesses. Prior to submitting an application to the city, the Chamber will review the application for completeness and identify any missing information to ensure quick processing by the city.
